How the Foldercrate studio website handles data: cookieless analytics, self-hosted fonts, no trackers, no forms, everything hosted in Switzerland.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Foldercrate studio website at foldercrate.com only. It is provided by Foldercrate, based in Solothurn, Switzerland (the “studio”, “we”, “us”).
Our individual products (Bravli, Uptimewolf, Snippli, Smart SEO Audit and Logiwolf) run on their own domains and have their own separate privacy policies and terms. This document does not cover them. When you use a product, the policy on that product's website applies.
We built this website to be about as privacy-friendly as a website can be:
When you visit foldercrate.com, our Swiss web server automatically processes standard technical request data (such as the requested page and your browser type) for the short time needed to deliver the page and keep the site secure. Beyond that, we do not build any profile of you and do not ask you for any personal information on this website.
We measure aggregate website traffic using Logiwolf, our own cookieless, privacy-first analytics product. Logiwolf helps us understand which pages are useful without identifying individual visitors.
You can read how Logiwolf works at logiwolf.com.
The fonts used on this site (Inter and Geist Mono) are hosted on our own Swiss infrastructure. Your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other external provider to display this site, so no data is shared with third parties for fonts. We embed no third-party advertising, social media trackers or comment widgets.
If you write to us at hello@foldercrate.com, we receive the content of your message and your email address. We use this solely to read and reply to your message, and we keep it only as long as needed for that correspondence. We do not add you to any mailing list and do not resell or share your message.
If you apply to the Foldercrate Impact Program, the application form asks for information about you and your initiative: your name or organisation, email, country or location, an optional website or social link, the type and name of your project, a short description of what you do and who it serves, which of our products you would like to use, and optionally how long the project has existed and how active it is.
If you apply for a role on our careers page, you do so by emailing us directly. We then process the information you choose to send us (such as your name, contact details, CV, portfolio and anything else in your message) for the sole purpose of assessing your application and communicating with you about it.
We process the limited website data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for visitors in the EU/EEA). Impact Program and job applications are processed on the basis of your consent in submitting them and to take steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). All processing is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG). For visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR applies in addition to Swiss law.
Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Aggregate Logiwolf analytics contain no personal data. Email correspondence, Impact Program applications and job applications are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request, your participation, or the hiring process, plus any legally required period, after which they are deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Because this website deliberately collects almost no personal data, in most cases there will be little or nothing for us to act on. To make a request, email hello@foldercrate.com. EU/EEA visitors also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority; visitors in Switzerland may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
We may update this policy as the website evolves. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
