Partners & acknowledgements
Foldercrate takes no investor money. A small studio only stays independent because of the right allies, and these are ours: the partners, tools and people that keep our corner of the internet running.
The allies
We choose partners the way we build products: carefully, for the long term, and never at the expense of your data. Every company below earned its place by making independence easier, not harder.
Every Foldercrate product runs on Hostpoint's Swiss infrastructure. Swiss data centers, Swiss jurisdiction. It's the physical foundation of our privacy promise, and the reason "hosted in Switzerland" is a fact on this site rather than a marketing claim.
hostpoint.ch →Secure, PCI-compliant billing across all our products. We never see or store your card details, and neither does anyone else who shouldn't. Payment data is the one category we're glad not to host ourselves.
stripe.com →We run on what we sell. Our websites are measured with Logiwolf's cookieless analytics and monitored by Uptimewolf. If our tools weren't good enough for us, we wouldn't ship them to you.
Logiwolf →Creators, agencies and bloggers recommend Foldercrate products through our affiliate programs. Honest recommendations, recurring commissions, no pay-to-say marketing. If you have an audience of site owners, marketers or developers, there's a program for you.
Become one →Standing on shoulders
A better internet is a group project. Thank you to the open source community. Our products exist because thousands of people gave their work away.
Among many others, we gratefully build with and on:
A few people in particular
Some of the people who shaped Foldercrate will never show up in a changelog. We want to name a few of them here.
To the AfterLogic Corp. team, to Alexandru Madalin and to Andy Zhang: thank you for your support, patience and genuine commitment. A great deal of what works about our products stands on that foundation. Andy in particular, thank you for more than a decade of it.
To a certain student at the University of Bern whose conversations sparked the idea behind the Foldercrate Impact Program and pushed us to take sustainability seriously: thank you.
And to the people who backed this along the way, in ways big and small: Milot Hoxha, Géraud Monteil, Savvas Koutroullis, Tim Laufenberg, Deborah Bass, Sergiy Kalinchuk and Robert Jaskolowski. Thank you.
And above all
No investors means one thing: you fund this studio. More than 450,000 registered users, every one of them a direct vote for independent, privacy-respecting software. We don't take a single one for granted, and we never will, because we literally can't afford to.
Thank you
The partners above, the open source community, and every customer since 2013 are the reason a small Swiss studio can stay independent. We don't take it for granted.
