Careers
We are a small, independent Swiss studio with a wide reach. We work fully remote, ship software that treats people fairly, and answer to the users of our tools rather than to investors. If that sounds like your kind of place, we would love to meet you.
How we work
Foldercrate is remote-only, and has been from the start. No mandatory office, no commute, no arbitrary hours. We care about what you build and the people you build it for, not where you sit while you do it.
Our whole team is distributed. You choose the timezone, the setup and the rhythm that lets you do your best work.
Self-funded since 2013. Decisions are made for users and the team, not for a board or a quarterly target.
Small teams mean your work is visible and your decisions matter. You own outcomes, not tickets.
We keep meetings rare and writing strong. Fewer interruptions, more time to think and ship.
We work with people from different backgrounds and places, and we build tools for the same wide world.
Privacy, neutrality and an open internet are not slogans here. They are the reason the studio exists.
The kit
Remote should never mean under-equipped. Every team member gets a proper setup, provided and paid for by Foldercrate, so your home workspace works as hard as you do.
Time & balance
We think good work comes from rested people, not long hours. A full 100% role here is a four-day, 32-hour week, on full pay. On top of that, everyone gets six weeks of paid holiday to actually switch off.
Open roles
We don't have any positions open at the moment, but that changes. We still like meeting good people, so if you think you'd be a fit for the studio, write to us at hello@foldercrate.com and tell us what you'd want to work on.
Independent since 2013
If you care about building tools that treat people fairly, we should talk, open role or not.
